Boy, an autobiographical book written by Roald Dhal, talks about his life in a boarding school. In the chapter we read, he talks about the Matron who was in charge of the dormitory floor. Everyone was scared of her as she could send you to the headmaster at any time to get caned. She didn't like little boys.
Rules back then were very different to the rules today.
