Today for reading we did some tic-tac-toe activities. The topic of our reding is The past beneath our feet. We were to chose our three activities out of nine activities. Here is what I chose and did.

THE MOA

Today in reading we read an article on Richard Owen's Giant Mystery. Our activity was to make our own Moa by google drawing and find some facts about it. Here's what I made and found out about the Moa.

Today in music we did some researches on Matariki. Here is what I found on about Matariki: Ranginui was the father's name and Papatuanuku was the mother. They had children. One of the sons' was Tane Mahuta and the other one was Tawhiri. The children were growing and wanted some space to move out. They wanted to separate their parents and wanted to be freed.

One day Tane Mahuta tried to separate their parents apart and he finally did it. Ranginui was so sad that he started. Tawhiri was also sad, but his tears' became light. He threw his tears' in heaven and the tears' became stars since then it is known as Matariki. Here is a video to explain you.

what I did during holiday break

Today is the first day of term 2. We were told to draw what we did in our holiday breaks. Here is what I made. We used Toondoo to create our drawings.
