In Art, we have been doing dilution painting. Dilution painting is about using paint as a wash. To do this, we mixed white paint with water. If we wanted a lighter colour. we added more water and if we wanted a brighter colour, we added more paint.

ReplyDeleteYou have done well to use the dilution matrix to reflect on your painting. I like that you describe your washes in terms of intensity, or brightness. Does your tonal (dilution) painting suggest colour to you? Some colours are middle values like reds, for example.
